Description

Among the stone buildings that adorn the scenic Andritsena, the Public Historical Library of the region stands out.
Dating back to 1840, it is one of the most important and richest libraries in the country, with many remarkable products of World Publishing and Printing, as well as texts and documents of incalculable objective, historical and intellectual value.
This intellectual and historical "treasure" is kept in a magnificent neoclassical building, which also houses the library's reading room. In this room, excellent educational and cultural activities are often organized, always with the aim of preserving and transmitting the local tradition, and supporting the educational act.
