May Day in Katakolo

The Municipality of Pyrgos and the Cultural Association of Katakolo "O Pharos", continuing their dear collaboration, organize a special festive event for May Day with good music and activities in the square of Katakolo at 13.00 for young and old.
The musical group "Laiko Pentagrammo" will keep company with favorite folk songs, while the Cultural Association plans activities for all attendees. The Mayor of Pyrgos, Panagiotis Antonakopoulos, extends an open invitation to all citizens to celebrate Labor Day in the spring Katakolo, with good music in the square of Katakolo.
Shortly before the concert, the president of the Katakolo Cultural Association "The Lighthouse" Eleni Terzopoulou and the members organize the most... flowery competition. In collaboration with the deputy mayor of Prasinos, Marino Ahtipis, and the Green Service, they will distribute free flowers to visitors to make their own wreath and take part in the competition for the best wreath. As part of the events, the president of the Traditional Seeds Group, Olga Rouva, will speak and distribute free seeds to visitors.
